Built around the clean, non-conductive FK-5-1-12 gaseous extinguishing agent, Raptor Nova delivers rapid fire suppression through a combination of powerful cooling and oxygen displacement, without leaving residue, corroding electronics or disrupting operations. Designed with Protecfire’s signature no pressure, no electricity, low-maintenance architecture, the system features a patented Directional Control Valve that enables a single unit to protect multiple compartments — detecting and extinguishing only where the fire is. FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishing agent is a colorless, odorless and non-electrical conducting gaseous fire suppression agent, used in scenarios where water-based fire suppression (for example, from a foam system) would be impractical or where it coud damage expensive equipments or property, such as museums, server rooms, banks, clean rooms and hospitals.
It is stored as a liquid under pressure and is discharged as a gas, during this transition called vaporization, it rapidly absorbs heat energy, expands quickly to displace oxygen.
